Lizzy + House of Strut | Editorial Session
A beautiful afternoon, an incredible friend, and a bunch of recycled vintage fashion pieces? What more could a photographer ask for!
One of my favorite parts about living in Savannah is the myriad of boutiques around town that are eco-friendly and encourage a second life for your clothes rather than letting them rot in a landfill. House of Strut is one of my absolute favorite of these, as their style range is unmatched and their customer service is just the best. We literally rolled up to the shop on a whim, told the owner Erica we would love to do a bit of a styled vintage shoot, and after she helped put together some of the most beautiful outfits, we took to the streets of Savannah and Tybee leaving Abba quaking in their bedazzled boots.
We had three looks and three locations, but most of all we had an absolute blast! Lizzy is one my best friends in the entire world and seeing her look so stunning and feeling so confident meant we could have nothing but the best day ever just hanging out and taking some fun pictures together throughout the day.
If you live in the Savannah area and are in need of a new piece or want to rent one, please please check out House of Strut. I am not sponsored by them in any way (I wish I was!) but I truly believe in them as a company and support their love for cleaning up the fashion industry as well as their many efforts to work and collaborate with students.
